Many people have lost jobs in recent weeks, either permanently or temporarily. If you’re worried about how to make ends meet, it is helpful to know that some companies are still hiring all over the country. You probably can find a job.
Demand for workers at grocery stores, drugstores, delivery services, hardware stores and some restaurants that deliver has grown. In some cases, the jobs will be permanent, and in others cases, they are temporary. If you need a way to put food on the table, a temporary job may be a good move.
But not all the jobs are temporary. Some companies are seeking permanent, full-time employees with benefits.
Here are 25 companies current hiring. Some are using a virtual, online recruiting process, and others will be happy to talk to you if you appear at their stores (though a phone call first would probably be good).
Amazon and Whole Foods: Amazon is adding 100,000 new full- and part-time positions in its fulfillment centers, delivery network, Amazon Go and Whole Foods stores to keep up with demand. There is a possibility these temporary roles could become permanent jobs. Click on link to apply.

CVS: CVS Health wants to hire 50,000 full-time, part-time and temporary workers across the United States. Positions include store associates, home delivery drivers, distribution center employees and customer service professionals. Dollar Tree: The discount store chain plans to add 25,000 workers in stores and distribution centers. Click here to apply.
