If spending the day in the kitchen isn’t your idea of a holiday, be thankful that you might not have to prepare your own meal this Thanksgiving. Consider ordering a pre-cooked Thanksgiving dinner from a grocery store or restaurant if you might like some extra time to spend with those close to you.
You can order a full Thanksgiving meal to go, or sometimes just individual dishes, from the stores and restaurants below. In some cases, dinners can be picked up hot and ready to serve, while in other cases they may come cold, needing to be cooked or reheated. Either way, your feast will take way less preparation than if you made it all from scratch.
Some venues let you order Thanksgiving dinner online; for others, you might need to call or place an order in person.
If you’d rather skip clean-up as well, here’s a list of restaurants that are open for dine-in on Thanksgiving. If you decide to eat out, plan to make your reservations quickly as restaurants often fill up fast.
Please note that the prices and offerings for these to-go meals may vary by location. We will continue to add to this list as more grocery stores and restaurants announce their Thanksgiving plans. If you want to see more more options that might be closer to home, you can also check out the local Living on the Cheap network sites.
