They’re baaaaack! This frosty fall offer from Wendy’s will leave trick-or-treaters “in the cold”, but in the sweetest way possible.
Rather than handing out candy on Halloween night, you can give the “little monsters” a lesson in saving money by dropping a coupon in their bag — a coupon they can redeem for a sweet treat later with their friends or family.
The popular burger chain is again offering one of our favorite Halloween freebies — Boo! Books.
For $1, get a booklet of five coupons — each good for a FREE Jr. Frosty. The coupons are valid now through Dec. 31.
A Jr. Frosty regularly sells for $1.79 at most locations, so the savings are frightfully good. In the end, each Jr. Frosty costs only 20 cents.
And they’re not just to hand out on Halloween night. It might be a wise investment for frugal families to purchase a few booklets to use on those days when the kids need an after-school or weekend treat.
The best part is that 85 cents of every book sold benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in finding forever families for children waiting in foster care.
The coupon books are available at participating locations through Oct. 31, while supplies last.

NOTE: Not all locations offer the same national promotions. As a result, price and participation may vary. It's always wise to call ahead for verification in your area. We strive to keep up with “limited-time offers,” but deals may end without notice.
