If you or someone you know is battling cancer, Cleaning for a Reason Foundation can help on the home front. This nonprofit organization offers FREE professional housecleaning and maid services to those undergoing treatment for any cancer.
A local insured and bonded professional house cleaning service will provide up to one FREE general cleaning per month for four months for those currently in cancer treatment.
Patients must fill out an online application, and if registration is successful, a doctor’s verification must be submitted. If a maid service is available, the service will contact the patient directly.
There are participating maid services throughout the United States.
Cleaning for a Reason has helped more than 11,000 women with cancer with more than $2 million in donated cleanings.
