Here’s what to know about the new Fuel Up Friday deal and how to make it work for you:
Every Friday from April 3 through May 29, Amazon Prime members can save 20¢ per gallon at participating BP and Amoco stations, plus select AMPM and Thorntons locations. The catch is that the full 20¢ discount is one-time use each Friday, so it’s best to plan your fill-up around it.
The discount stacks automatically once everything is set up. There’s a base 5¢ off through BP’s rewards system, another 5¢ for being a Prime member, and then an extra 10¢ added during the promotion window. That’s how it reaches the full 20¢ per gallon.
To use it, you’ll need to connect your Amazon account to BP’s rewards system through the earnify™ app. Once linked, you can activate the discount at the pump just by entering your phone number or using the app directly.
Outside of Fridays, Prime members still get 10¢ off per gallon year-round, which comes from that same 5¢ + 5¢ combination. There’s no minimum or maximum on gallons, so it works whether you’re topping off or filling up completely.
The earnify™ app itself is optional, but it does make things easier. It helps you find participating stations nearby and lets you track rewards or savings over time.
For anyone already paying for Prime, this is one of those perks that’s actually worth remembering—especially if you time your fill-ups right.
