A prime rib lunch for less than a dollar? Yes, it’s true!
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is bringing back #FlashbackFriday, its celebration of 79 cents Friday lunch favorites and a nod to 1979 — the year Perry’s first opened as a modest butcher shop in Houston.
This year, the celebration is bigger and better at all locations nationwide.

79-Cent Lunch Special
Two-hundred (200) customers can enjoy one of two 79-cent favorites — with 100 of each available at every location.
Choose from the following two lunch specials:
Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch (regularly $24) – Perry’s Famous Pork Chop (Lunch Cut) with whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce and freshly baked bread.
Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich (regularly $29) – A Pecan-wood fired, caramelized-to-order prime rib sandwich, served with French fries and horseradish cream.
There’s just one catch: The lunch date is a secret.
Perry’s will reveal the date exclusively on its social media channels — Instagram, Facebook and X.
On the big day, doors open at 10:30 a.m. And the first 200 customers in line at each location will receive a card redeemable for one of the two meals — for dine-in only on the same day.
The giveaway is first-come, first-served for customers 21 and older.
If you’re one of the lucky 200 to dine for less than a buck, be sure to tip your waitstaff appropriately.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille has locations in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nebraska, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
