Taco ’bout some good deals! Monday, Oct. 4, is National Taco Day, and chain restaurants are offering some spicy deals on one of the U.S.’ favorite Mexican foods.
We’ve found a few national offers to celebrate the day; you can also check your locally owned Mexican restaurants to see if they’re participating. Check out our network of sites for deals in your area.
So whether you like your tacos soft or crunchy, with beef or chicken, here’s how you can save money on your south-of-the-border order.

7-Eleven
If you’re looking for convenience on National Taco Day, stop by 7-Eleven for a big deal on its popular mini-tacos. Made with shredded beef, green chiles, jalapeño peppers, cilantro, and spices, the chain’s mini tacos have a spicy beef filling stuffed into mini-sized crispy corn tortillas.
7Rewards loyalty members can pick up 10 mini tacos for just $1. That makes them just 10¢ each!
If you’re too busy to stop, purchase one order of mini tacos for delivery through 7-Eleven Delivery via the 7NOW app and get a second order FREE. Enjoy 16 mini tacos for the price of eight.
Chronic Tacos
The love for tacos is never-ending for many, so Chronic Tacos is a great place to celebrate National Taco Day. The restaurant chain is giving away a FREE taco with the purchase of a drink on Oct. 4. Customers will receive a complimentary taco by purchasing any Coca-Cola fountain drink — in-store only.
The offer includes Chicken, Carnitas, Al Pastor and veggie tacos only.
The shop has locations in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.
Chuy’s
It’s dollar taco time at Chuy’s! Add a crispy or soft ground beef taco to any dine-in entrée purchase for just $1.
The Tex-Mex restaurant is also offering Tequila Floaters for $1 to top your favorite margarita with an extra pour of tequila. After all, tequila and tacos are the perfect pair.
The taco love doesn’t stop there. Chuy’s is calling on taco fans everywhere to dress like a taco, post a photo with #ChuysTacoDay and head to their nearest participating location for a FREE dine-in entrée of their choice.
Plus, for die-hard fans of both tacos and the restaurant, the chain’s popular Taco Tees are only $10 each on National Taco Day.
Del Taco
The Mexican fast-food restaurant started offering deals on National Quesadilla Day Sept. 25 and will keep the party going through National Taco Day (Oct. 4) with its 10 Days of Deals.
The deals are only open to members of the chain’s new Del Yeah! Rewards program, so app registration is required to access deals. Each daily deal will be available on the app under “Your Offers.” Just be sure to “Save Offer” on your account before making a purchase.

Go crazy at El Pollo Loco on National Taco Day. On Oct. 4, every Crunchy Taco order at the restaurant will come with a FREE ice-cold Mexican Coke.
In addition, Loco Rewards members can check their account for a special buy-one-get-one offer that can be used to get another Crunchy Taco for FREE on the same day.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop
The popular Baja-style taco joint will offer $1.50 tacos all day in honor of National Taco Day Monday, Oct. 4. The fine print: Promotion excludes fajita, shrimp, or Mahi, including California Heat, Citrus Heat Mahi, and Queso Shrimpico. Online ordering, where available, will be limited to a 10-taco maximum; quantity limits may apply for dine-in and takeout orders. Not valid on third-party delivery orders or with any other discounts.
Long John Silver’s
Even though most don’t usually think of Long John Silver’s and tacos together, bargain hunters can still catch a good deal at the seafood fast-food restaurant on National Taco Day.
On Oct. 4, get a FREE taco with the purchase of any combo meal. Choose from wild-caught Alaska Pollock; wild-caught North Pacific salmon; grilled shrimp; or, for one day only, Norway Lobster Bites.
The required coupon will be available on Long John Silver’s social media or by subscribing to the LJS e-mail club.
On The Border
What’s better than one taco? Endless tacos! If you really love tacos, you’ll definitely want to head to On The Border on National Taco Day.
The popular Mexican restaurant is serving Endless Tacos, all day long on Oct. 4. Choose from crispy or soft, chicken tinga or seasoned ground beef — starting at $10.99.
Rubio’s Coastal Grill
Celebrate National Taco Day, Oct. 4 at Rubio’s and get a FREE à la carte taco with any purchase in the chain’s locations across California, Arizona and Nevada. Use the coupon at rubios.com/national-taco-day-offer . When ordering online at Rubios.com or through the app, use coupon code TACO.
Taco Bell
There’s just no way Taco Bell could not celebrate National Taco Day. For many, the Mexican fast-food restaurant is the go-to place for tacos, as well as burritos, nachos and more.
So, of course, they’re honoring the big day with a special offer just for Taco Bell Rewards members on Oct. 4. Expect an announcement soon. You can sign-up for the loyalty program here.

Taco del Mar
On Oct. 4, Taco Del Mar is offering a buy-one-get-one FREE taco on online orders through tacodelmar.com to celebrate National Taco Day. There is a limit of four tacos.
Customers can find the coupon code to use at checkout on Taco Del Mar’s Facebook page. The offer is available at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Taco John’s
As the proclaimed creators of Taco Tuesday, Taco John’s is celebrating National Taco Day in a big way. All day on Oct. 4, fans can redeem a coupon for a FREE Fried Chicken Taco through the chain’s app.
The Mexican fast-food chain is encouraging chicken lovers to ditch the bun and savor the flavor of crispy all-white meat chicken tenders topped with their choice of two unique sauces – jalapeño ranch or chipotle lime sauce – all tucked inside a warm flour tortilla.
Torchy’s Tacos
The National Taco Day fiesta will definitely heat up at Torchy’s Tacos. The popular chain is offering an exclusive deal just for its Taco Junkies Rewards Club members on Oct. 4.
