Famished frugal diners always love a buy-one-get-one deal because it means big savings. Pay full price for the first item and get the second one at reduced price.
And McDonald’s is bringing back its popular Buy One, Add One for $1 deal on many menu favorites at participating locations — starting Jan. 7, 2025.
The offer will be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Buy One, Add One for $1 Breakfast
At most locations, breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m.
The deal includes the following items for breakfast:
Sausage McMuffin
Sausage Biscuit
Sausage Burrito
Hash Browns
Buy One, Add One for $1 Lunch and Dinner
The deal includes the following items for lunch and dinner:
Chicken McNuggets (6-piece)
McChicken
Double Cheeseburger
Small Fries
Mix or match any two items. Pay the regular menu price for one and get the second (of equal or lesser value) for just a dollar more.
The cost of one menu item ranges from around $2.50 to $4, so the savings definitely add up. Regular price varies by location.
At only a buck for the second item, hungry bargain hunters would be foolish to pass on the savings — eat both items (if you’re really hungry!), share the second item with a friend or save it for a midnight snack.
The offer is available in-restaurant and via the McDonald’s app. The discount is automatically applied at checkout.
$5 Meal Deal Continues
If you’re hungrier for more savings, McDonald’s also continues to offer its popular $5 Meal Deal. The offer has been extended through Summer 2025.
The $5 Meal Deal includes your choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, 4 Chicken McNuggets and small soft drink – all for just $5.
