We can’t thank our troops enough for their service and sacrifice. However, the Veterans Ticket Foundation (VTF) is, at least, making sure they’re enjoying quality time with their loved ones at various entertainment events for FREE. Every day, there are shows, concerts and events with empty seats — so why not generously give them to those who serve or have served? Well, that’s exactly what the VTF does. They bring together promoters and veterans to fill empty seats, as a means of saying “thank you.” The calendar of events changes, so military families will need to check back periodically for new shows. First, you need to sign up for the program. Then you search for available tickets by state and, if you find something of interest, then make a ticket request. The number of tickets varies by event and is limited. A recent search found more than 770 events with available tickets throughout the country. They’re also actively looking for promoters who are interested in donating tickets, so, if you know someone, this is a great opportunity to ensure a full house and support our brave men & women in uniform — all at the same time.
