We can’t thank our troops enough for their service and sacrifice. However, the Veterans Ticket Foundation (VTF) is, at least, making sure they’re enjoying quality time with their loved ones at various entertainment events for FREE.
This year, many of those may be virtual, like the one Vet Tix is hosting on November 21, 2020. “Support Vet Tix 2020” is a free 4-hour family-friendly virtual entertainment event that will be held online via the Vet Tix website and through Facebook and YouTube.
The charity broadcast will include special guest appearances, messages of support from donors and partners, and entertainment while sharing the 12-year history of Vet Tix. This heartwarming event is available to anyone around the world.
In a normal year, there are shows, concerts and events with empty seats — so Vet Tix works with brings together promoters and veterans to generously provide those seats to those who serve or have served? To date, Vet Tix has distributed nearly 9.5 million tickets.
The calendar of events changes, so military families will need to check back periodically for new shows. First, you need to sign up for the program. Then you search for available tickets by state and, if you find something of interest, then make a ticket request.
The number of tickets varies by event and is limited. A recent search found more than 155 events with available tickets throughout the country.
The organization is also actively looking for promoters who are interested in donating tickets, so, if you know someone, this is a great opportunity to ensure a full house and support our brave men & women in uniform — all at the same time.
