Pepsi is shaking up the carbonated beverage aisle with the introduction of its latest soft drink — Nitro Pepsi.
The beverage is the first nitro-infused cola to hit the market. It promises to be whole different experience for Pepsi and cola fans alike. Nitro infusion isn’t just for coffee or beer beverages anymore.
The frothy foam head and smooth, creamy texture is made possible by a unique widget technology placed at the bottom of every can. And who isn’t mesmerized by the cascade of tiny bubbles from the first pour.
Nitro Pepsi comes in two flavors — Draft Cola and Vanilla Draft Cola.
Pepsi fans can be one of the first to experience the new beverage at no cost, thanks to Walmart.
From March 11 to April 11, the big box retailer is offering customers one Nitro Pepsi can for FREE — up to $1.88.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1 – Scan Code: Find the in-store Nitro Pepsi display and scan the code with your smartphone. To find the nearest location, click here. If you can’t find it, ask a store associate for assistance.
Step 2 – Launch Video: Upon arriving on the landing page, click “Redeem Offer” to initiate the “Enter the Nitro Pepsi” video experience.
Step 3 – Get Gift Card: The final screen of the “Enter the Nitro Pepsi” video will prompt you to “swipe away the foam” to reveal the screen on which to access your gift card. You will need to enter a valid email address. You will then receive a gift card in the amount of $1.88 to be used for one eligible Nitro Pepsi product purchased in-store at a participating Walmart location.
You can manually add the gift card to your mobile wallet by clicking “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”, accordingly.
