Signed, sealed and delivered. There’s “a little change” happening at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) soon. Once again, the USPS is increasing the rate on first-class postage stamp better known as the Forever Stamp.
Even though a small price increase may seem minor to many, it’s noteworthy to bargain hunters because they know small amounts add up over time. A penny saved is a penny earned!

Price Increase Summer 2025
The price of a Forever Stamp increases on July 13, 2025 — from 73 to 78 cents. That means a book of 20 stamps will cost $15.60 — up from $14.60. (The last increase was back in July of 2024 — from 68 to 73 cents.)
In addition, the rate of a postcard stamp will also increase on the same day — from 56 to 62 cents.
Now’s the time to stock up on Forever Stamps before the price increase. The last day to buy Forever Stamps at the current rate of 73 cents is July 12, 2025.
In case you didn’t know, Forever Stamps are always valid for the current first-class stamp rate — regardless of any future rate increases.
If you use lots of stamps in your personal and/or professional life, it’s definitely worth the investment to buy several rolls or books of stamps now at the lower rate.
If you can’t make it the post office in time, you can also purchase stamps online at the current rate. Even better, the shipping charges are minimal.

Decrease them prices. We want deflation to happen!
