When fall arrives, Albuquerque has plenty of pumpkin patches, trunk or treat events and apple picking spots. We’ve put together a special roundup of the best places to get the fall fiesta going in and around Albuquerque.

McCall’s Pumpkin Patch is just a short drive from Albuquerque to Moriarity on 34 McCall Lane. You can pick your own pumpkin, wander through 16-acres of corn in their large maze or try the giant slide. McCall’s also has farm animals that are always a big hit with the little ones. Galloping Goat Pumpkin Patch is another fan favorite for families to visit during the fall. \Enjoy the corn pit, duck races, pumpkin bowling, and the petting zoo (complete with those well-known goats). Two other popular activities at the pumpkin patch are the large playhouses for children to enjoy and the harvest maze. Big Jim Farms U-Pick Visit Big Farms and enjoy FREE admission. You pay only for what you purchase. Shop for sunflowers, pumpkins and green chile! Pumpkins are available starting at the end of September until Halloween. The farm is located in Albuquerque at 4317 Rio Grande Boulevard. The farm is open from 8am to 6pm daily.
