Every family already knows how popular Happy Meals are with kids…and some adults, too. However, the happiness is heightened even more with the return of a Halloween favorite.
Making their first appearance in 1986, the OG McBoo, McPunk’n and McGoblin characters are making a much-anticipated return to McDonald’s this spooky season.

The nostalgic Halloween Happy Meal will be available at participating McDonald’s locations nationwide — beginning Oct. 18.
To get your hands on one, simply order a Happy Meal. (The pail replaces the toy, in case you’re wondering.) The popular pails are available through Halloween, Oct. 31, while supplies last.
There are three different face designs on each pail. The buckets are distributed randomly. (If you ask for a specific bucket, please be patient with employees as they may not be able to accommodate your request.)
