Want to go out for New Year’s Eve and still save money? Many restaurants are open, and some even have special food or drink deals. Always call to verify hours and prices before you put on your party hat, because participation in these promotions may vary by location.
Applebee’s: Stop by your nearest location to take advantage of the updated 2 for $22 deal: two entrees and a full-size appetizer for $22. Hours may be reduced, so call before you go.
Cheesecake Factory: Most Cheesecake Factory locations will be open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, and some locations will be offering a complimentary champagne toast. Call your nearest location to verify.
Chili’s: Celebrate the end of 2021 with a $5 margarita of the month at Chili’s. Or come in on New Year’s Day for chips and salsa and wait for the unveiling of their January Drink of the Month.
Fleming’s: Most locations are open and will offer a holiday menu, but reservations are required.
IHOP: Get a taste of the holiday menu through Jan. 2. And you may not even need to get a babysitter: depending on the location, kids eat free from 4 to 10 p.m. — buy an adult entrée and get one kid entrée free. Or join their MYHOP membership program to kick your year off with free pancakes.
Outback Steakhouse: Military members, veterans, medical personnel, first responders and AARP members can go into the new year with a little extra money in your pocket; the steakhouse chain lets you save 10% on your bill. Romano’s Macaroni Grill: Most locations will be open both days. Join their e-club and get a $5 off coupon.
Red Lobster: New Year’s Eve is also Fish Fry Friday. Enjoy hand-battered, wild-caught cod served with fries and coleslaw for just $11.99
Ruth’s Chris: Most will be open on New Year’s Eve 2021 and New Year’s Day 2022. They will have special holiday prix fixe dinners for dining in (make a reservation) or pickup (through Jan. 2).
