Redbox is celebrating 20 years of renting blockbusters at its red kiosks everywhere — from gas stations to grocery stores.
For frugal film fanatics, Redbox is one of the least expensive and easiest ways to rent movies. Where else can you rent a movie (Blu-ray or DVD) for less?
To celebrate the major milestone, Redbox customers can rent a blockbuster at even more blockbuster savings — from Nov. 17 to 21.
Enjoy a Blu-ray or DVD rental for just $1 at the red kiosk — use promo code 20BDAY. The discount only applies to the first night of the rental. (Rental special does not apply to 4k discs. However, the promo code is still valid for $1.25 discount.) Limit one code per transaction.
Remember, rentals need to be returned the following day by 9 p.m. However, the best part is that you can return the rental at any Redbox location. Rent a movie at the grocery store and you can return it the next day at the convenience store near your office. All of the locations are interchangeable with regard to rental and return.
If your entertainment budget is tight, Redbox also streams movies and TV shows for FREE.
