If you or your parents or grandparents need help with home renovations you can’t afford, Rebuilding Together may be able to help. The nonprofit organization builds free wheelchair ramps and provides FREE critical home repairs, modifications and improvements to low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners who can’t do the work themselves. For more than 30 years, Rebuilding Together’s network of 200 independent, grassroots organizations has helped Americans with home repairs.
The groups’ 200,000 volunteers do 10,000 projects each year, including wheelchair ramps, walker steps, yard maintenance, emergency services, painting, gutter cleaning, smoke detector installation, critical home modifications and green building to conserve energy and save money.
From Seattle to San Diego, Denver to Austin, Chicago to New York, Maine to Miami, and everywhere in-between, find your local Rebuilding Together organization if you know someone who needs help with home repair and maintenance or a wheelchair ramp.
