Here’s a reason to smile: Comfort Dental is once again providing FREE dental services for those in need on Dec. 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at most locations.
Comfort Dental offices saw 4,000 patients in 2018, and gave away approximately $1.4 million in free dental services nationwide. Since Care Day’s beginnings in 1984, Comfort Dental has given away more than $22.8 million in dental services. According to the Comfort Dental website, their core mission is “to expand access to quality dental care by making it affordable and convenient.”
As expected, the line starts forming early, so plan accordingly or expect to wait for a few hours. Patients are assisted on a first-come, first-served basis and can receive a variety of basic dental care — from cleanings to extractions. However, more serious dental problems are handled at the discretion of each office and its staff.
The community event is made possible by the generosity of about 300 dentists and 1,300 staff members who donate their time on Care Day.
Comfort Dental has locations in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington. Call ahead to your local Comfort Dental office to confirm participation and hours.
