Shop Small is an initiative from American Express encouraging customers to shop in local brick and mortar stores rather than the big-box retailers.
As an incentive, American Express cardholders can get up to $50 in statement credits, when they shop at a local shops through Sept. 20.
Here’s how it works:
Sign-Up — Enroll an eligible American Express Card by Aug. 23. Click here.
Shop Small — Make a single purchase of $10 or more using the enrolled card directly at an eligible small
business and get a $5 statement credit.
Spread The Love — Continue supporting small businesses by using the offer up to 10 times by Sept. 20, for a total of up to $50 in statement credits.
