Restaurant.com, which offers discount dining at eateries nationwide, is having a sale. The company sells discount dining certificates all the time: $10 for $25 worth of food, $20 for $50 worth of dining, etc. Monday, Feb. 10, and Tuesday, Feb. 11, you can get a $25 certificate for only$4 with promo code DEAL. These sales are not as frequent as they used to be, so if your favorite restaurant participates in the program, you might want to grab this deal while you can.
The selection of available restaurants varies by city. In some cities, you have lot of choices. Some smaller towns may not have any participating restaurants. Be sure to read all the fine print so you understand when and how your certificate can be used. Here are our tips for getting the best deals with Restaurant.com.
Be careful with these cards – they aren’t the great deal they seem to be – at least in our area. There were very few choices, and most had a bunch of limitations, like you needed to spend amount far greater than $25, or the $25 only be applied to certain items or certain days. I wouldn’t buy one again.
Their usefulness varies a lot by area, and you have to read the fine print. But if they happen to have one of your favorite restaurants, and there are not too many limitations, they are a good deal.
