If you’re a busy film fanatic, now’s the time to catch up on seven Best Picture nominees, without breaking your entertainment budget.
Regal Cinemas is hosting its 2019 Best Picture Film Festival, from Feb. 15 to 24 at select locations. For $35, experience the nominated films for 10 days leading up to Oscar Sunday — Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favourite, Green Book, A Star is Born and Vice. (If you do the math, each film costs $5. That’s definitely some blockbuster savings.) Roma is somehow excluded from the line-up. (You can see it on Netflix anyway, so no big loss.)
The pass allows you access to select show times in the schedule — click here. The festival offers lots of flexibility, as each film has multiple show times, during the run of the festival.
Non-pass holders may purchase tickets to any Best Picture Film Festival screening at regular admission price. However, why would you? With evening tickets costing around $12, you’re better off buying a full pass, given its value — even if you just see half the movies.
Passes are available for purchase via the Regal Cinemas app or at the box office. Plus, enjoy a $5 medium popcorn and soft drink combo with each feature visit.
The 91st Oscars air on ABC on Feb. 24.
