Fly into Cinemark Theatres for super fun, especially if you need to catch up on superhero flicks or just want to experience the action on the big screen again.
From Aug. 25 to 31, the theater chain is hosting Marvel Studios Week — showing 11 of the studio’s biggest superhero flicks on its XD screen, including Captain America, Thor, The Avengers, Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy. (XD auditoriums have the chain’s largest wall-to-wall screen with a state-of-the-art projector capable of 35 trillion colors. Plus, custom surround sound with more speakers.) The films play Friday through Wednesday at 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and Thursday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Plus, attendees get super concession specials — large fountain drinks, Dibs ice cream, packaged candy, hot dogs and Dasani bottled water (20-oz.) are just $2 each; and a large popcorn and large ICEE are $3 each.
