March Madness isn’t all about sports – you can snap up some winning deals elsewhere. From St. Patrick’s Day specials to Pi Day deals, we’ll list them here to help you save money this month. Make sure you check this list routinely – we’ll add deals and freebies as we find them.
Aldi’s: Aldi’s is loading up its stores with Irish-themed cheese, just in time for the March celebration. Beginning February 27, you’ll be able to choose from There’s Pesto Gouda, English Sage Derby, Aged Irish Cheddar, Irish Cheddar with Beer, and Irish Cheddar with Whiskey. You’ll save some green here, as the cheese is only around $4.
Applebee’s: The $2 March Drink of the Month is Rainbow Punch. It’s a green cocktails to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, made with Absolut® vodka, green apple, lemon, ginger, and garnished with a candy rainbow.
Arby’s: For a limited time, Arby’s will offer a Mint Chocolate Shake topped with Andes candy pieces.
Bakers Square: This deal is a day earlier than Pi Day on March 14 – but the great thing is Free Pie Wednesday is every Wednesday, all year long. Get a free slice of pie with the purchase of any menu item.
Bar Louie: Celebrate Fat Tuesday on March 5 with a Blue Bayou, a Hurricane, or The Big Easy Shot.
Baskin Robbins: Get $1.70 ice cream scoops at participating locations on March 31.
Beef O’Brady’s : Enjoy two tacos with chips and salsa for $5.99 on Taco Tuesdays.
Bennigan’s: You can party like the Irish all month long in March at Bennigan’s. This year, they’ll travel back in time to the groovy ’70s to celebrate the restaurant’s birth year.
Blaze Pizza: Get artisanal pizzas for $3.14 each at participating Blaze Pizza locations on March 14. Download the Blaze Pizza app to receive $3.14 off the price of a pizza, good for your next visit.
Bob Evans: Kids eat free on Tuesdays, with the purchase of an an adult entree (one free kids meal per entree). From 4 pm to close at participating restaurants.
Carraba’s Italian Grill: Carrabba’s Italian Grill is offering a FREE order of Meatballs & Ricotta on National Meatball Day, March 9. The offer requires a purchase of two entrees.
Chili’s: Don’t wait for St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate. Head to Chili’s for its birthday event on March 13, 2019. El Presidente Margaritas are $3.13 all day long.
Chuck E. Cheese: You can have fun during the week at Chuck E. Cheese. Get two large 1-topping pizzas for $22 on Tuesdays.
Dairy Queen: From March 6 through March 17, 2019, you can buy one, get one Blizzard treat for 99 cents. Try the Mint Oreo Blizzard of the Month. Or check out the new Mint Shake, featuring vanilla soft serve blended with crème de menthe syrup and milk then capped with whipped topping. Del Taco: Get two beer-battered fish tacos for $4. Get two free tacos when you download the Del Taco app.
Dunkin Donuts: For one day only, Wednesday, March 6, seven lucky Dunkin’ restaurants across the country will be rebranded as “O’Dunkin’,” with new exterior signage. At each special O’Dunkin’, the first 250 customers will be offered a free small Hot or Iced Irish Creme flavored Coffee or Latte, while supplies last. Follow @Dunkin on Instagram for clues on where the lucky O’Dunkin’ restaurants will be.
Fuddrucker’s : On March 5, 2019, Fuddrucker’s holds a Fat Tuesday 3-pound Burger Challenge. Finish a 3-pound burger and a pound of fries in an hour or less, you will win a $20 gift card and a Victory T-shirt. You need to make a reservation 24 hours in advance at one of these participating locations.
Hungry Howie’s: Get a medium 1-topping pizza for $1 with the purchase of a large 1-topping pizza at regular price. Order online and add the coupon code Medium1.
Little Greek: Little Greek Week is being celebrated March 25-29 at its locations in six states. During that time, get $5.99 gyro chicken and veggie pitas., with a complimentary Pepsi fountain drink. March 26 is Toga Tuesday – any customer who comes to a restaurant dressed in a toga will receive a free gyro pita. No purchase is required.
Krispy Kreme: Krispy Kreme will bring back Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts return for a monthly one-day special on March 1, 2019. The chain says they will offer the popular donuts at participating locations on the first Friday of every month. All weekend, March 15 through 17, you can purchase Green O’riginal Glazed Doughnuts and the chance to win a Golden Dozen Pass worth FREE doughnuts.
McDonald’s: Every March, McDonald’s puts on the green by offering their minty Shamrock Shake at participating restaurants.
McCormick and Schmick’s: The restaurant’s bar menu includes corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, mussels and other specialties on March 17.
Metro Diner: Kids under the age of 12 get to munch free pancakes on National Pancake Day, March 12.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop: Potbelly is offering a buy-one-get-one FREE “A Wreck” sandwich at participating locations — from March 4 to 10.
Rita’s: Get a FREE Italian Ice Wednesday, March 20 from 12 noon to 9 pm at participating Rita’s.
Ruby’s Diner: The St. Paddy’s Shake is back until March 31. The vanilla ice cream shake is blended with mint and can be spiffed up with whipped cream, cookies or other additions.
Ireland: Although the summer months are the most popular times to travel to the Emerald Isle, you can share the love at the St. Patrick’s Day Festival, March 14 to 18 in Dublin Ireland. Grab a few guidebooks and explore.
Boston: Explore Boston’s deep Irish heritage by attending the St. Patrick’s Day celebration, with a parade on the Sunday closest to St. Patrick’s Day ( this year St. Patrick’s Day is on a Sunday). Take in a Celtic’s game or head to an Irish pub for a pint.
Chicago: The Windy City dyes the river green, plans three parades and greenlights some of its biggest buildings. In 2019, buildings, monuments and some Chicago streets will turn green from March 11 to March 17.
New London, Wisconsin: From March 18 to March 23, the little town of New London becomes New Dublin, with the help of some mischievous leprechauns. If you can’t bear the thought of braving the streets of a big city during St. Patrick’s Day weekend, try out this quaint town that goes all out to honor the saint.
