January is National Blood Donor Month, and the American Red Cross is experiencing its worst blood shortage in more than a decade. The need for blood donation is urgent right now.

From Jan. 24 to 31, anyone who donates blood or platelets will receive a FREE Original Glazed dozen doughnuts by visiting Krispy Kreme and showing their donation sticker or confirmation of their donation on the Red Cross blood donor app. No purchase necessary.
The complimentary dozen with proof of blood donation must be redeemed between Jan. 24 to 31. The qualifying blood donation must also have been made during the same time period.
Each individual customer who qualifies is limited to one Original Glazed dozen per blood donation.
All blood types are needed (as well as platelet donations), but especially O positive and O negative. To make an appointment to give blood or platelets, use the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org or call 1-800-733-2767.
Do blood donations to organizations other than the American Red Cross qualify for the offer?
Yes. Just show proof of donation and date via your local blood center, including your donor band, sticker, form or app.
