We’re happy to announce the grand opening of another new local On the Cheap site. Vermont on the Cheap is owned and operated by Rosie Wolf Williams. One of five children, Rosie learned at an early age to save without being miserly. Having fun is an important part of life, too. Her parents used to say, “Use it up. Wear it out. Make it do, or do without.” The mom of two adult sons, Rosie has spent her life saving, spending wisely.
Vermont on the Cheap focuses on the entire state of Vermont. Says Rosie, “We have a relatively low population, but we have a lot to offer. Socks and bow ties, maple syrup, artisan cheeses, artist’s offerings, musical venues, ski resorts and spa retreats — Vermont on the Cheap will work to bring readers the best deals and discounts from every corner of the Green Mountain State.”
Vermont on the Cheap launches with a giveaway on January 28. Enter to win a pair of Vermont’s own Darn Tough socks, the perfect thing to warm your tootsies during these cold days. Visit Vermont on the Cheap for entry details.
If you have friends in Vermont, be sure to tell them about Vermont on the Cheap. You also want to drop by if you plan a visit. Vermont is the 30th destination to join the Living on the Cheap network, a group of independently owned hyperlocal journalism sites.
