We’re happy to announce the grand opening of a new local On the Cheap site: Indianapolis on the Cheap. The site is owned and operated by Julie Sturgeon and Kevin Sermersheim, two deal denizens and longtime residents of Indianapolis. If you have friends in Indianapolis, be sure to tell them about Indianapolis on the Cheap. You also want to drop by if you plan a visit to the city.

To celebrate its grand opening, Indianapolis on the Cheap is hosting a giveaway with two prizes that are of interest to people anywhere. The first is an Indianapolis Colts metal semi-trailer collector’s replica, perfect for any true blue fan’s shelf. The second prize is an Oxford Jet Set travel pack from Gilchrist & Soames with shampoo, conditioner, conditioning shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, and two skincare bars. Gilchrist & Soames is located in downtown Indianapolis, of course. You’ll find details here on how to enter. The contest ends this Friday, August 17, at midnight EST.

Indianapolis is the 28th city to join the Living on the Cheap network, a group of independently owned hyper-local journalism sites. The network will adding sites in Minneapolis and Salt Lake City in the next few weeks.

We are excited to be a member of this group, and are committed to helping Hoosiers find prices that are blasts from the past. Come on over!

  2. Thank you for bringing Living on the Cheap to Indy. I am always looking for fun and cheap things to do. It will be awesome to have one place to go to.
