Start making room in your wallet now. It’s official: Walgreens has joined the long list of retailers that are offer rewards, benefits and savings for loyal customers. We’re not sure we like the idea of having to carry yet another card around, but it might be worth it. Balance Rewards lets you earn points on every purchase in-store and online. The program launches Sunday, September 16. However, if you register before September 15, you have the chance at winning 1 million points. We don’t have all of the details. but the more points you earn, the bigger your reward (obviously). For example, 5,000 points = $5 and 40,000 points = $50 — money you can spend on most items at Walgreens.
