Southwest & AirTran launch summer fare sale

Southwest Airlines and AirTran Airways have launched a new summer fare sale. Passengers can buy one-way travel to nearly 100 destinations starting as low as $59 one-way. And these fares include all government-imposed fees and taxes. Here’s the fine print: the sale ends at 11:59 p.m. (in your time zone) on  Thursday, April 11 and tickets are for travel between April 16 and October 30, 2013. Tickets must be bought through southwest.com or airtran.com for flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And, of course, seats are limited. Not only is this a great deal, but know that on Southwest customers can check their first two bags for FREE, and snacks and sodas are free.
