2012 Election Day freebies and deals

If election hoopla has made you hungry, we’ve found a few deals for you on Tuesday, November 6, Election Day. Remember that all deals are good only at participating locations, and there may be some regional variations. Not all local restaurants participate in all national promotions, so it’s always wise to call ahead to see if your favorite venue is offering a deal or freebie.

We’ll add more Election Day freebies and deals as we find them. Here are the deals we’ve found so far:

• Participating Brio restaurants: 20% discount with online orders and promo code VOTE
• RA Sushi restaurants: FREE California roll with $10 tab and an  “I voted” sticker.
• Buca di Beppo: two-for-one  lunch deal and $5 off or $10 off Famiglia Meals, with coupons on the website.
• Olive Garden: FREE Dolcini mini dessert  with an with “I voted” sticker and purchase of an adult entrée.
• On The Border: FREE sopapillas with purchase of at least one entrée and coupon available by email from restaurant’s Facebook page.
• Tijuana Flats: FREE appetizer with “I voted sticker.”
• White Castle: FREE small Sweet Potato Waffle Fry with a purchase and your “I Voted” sticker. Or vote for your favorite style of fries on Facebook and receive a coupon for a FREE small Crinkle Cut or Sweet Potato Waffle Fry.
• Chicago’s Pizza Restaurant: 10% off your dinner bill with an ”I Voted” sticker.
• Macaroni Grill: $10 off an eligible online order of at least $20, with promo code FACEBOOK.
• Starbucks: FREE Indivisible bracelet while supplies last.
• Tim Hortons restaurants: FREE donut with “I voted” sticker and purchase of a beverage.
• Yogurtini: 20% discount on frozen yogurt and toppings with “I voted today” sticker
• Sweet Tomatoes: BOGO coupon available to members of Club Veg. If you sign up, you may receive it in time to use on election day.
• Taco Bueno restaurants: FREE order of chips and guacamole. If a coupon is required, you may request it sent by email on Facebook.
• Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill is offering grilled or blackened Tilapia Tacos for just $1.50 after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6. This taco includes tilapia topped with creamy chipotle sauce, salsa fresca and serrano slaw. Served on a warm stone-ground corn tortilla and garnished with a slice of lime. No coupon is required.
• Participating Blockbuster shops: FREE 99-cent movie rental with coupon
• Participating Chili’s restaurants: Free appetizer with purchase of entrée and coupon sent by request from Facebook post.
