Hands-on activities  for kids are offered FREE select Saturdays and Sundays at Lowe’s stores.

The Pixar movie “Monsters University” is the theme for activites June 8, June 9, June 22 and June 23.

While the projects are FREE, participants need to register online. It’s a good idea to register early, because the slots at some stores book up quickly. Signing up is simple. Select a clinic, then, enter your zip code and select a store. Then, enter your e-mail and attendees’ names.

Information and registration is available online at the Lowe’s website.  During the Build and Grow Clinics,  youngsters use kid-friendly tools, glue and other fun stuff. All participants receive a FREE apron, goggles, a project-themed patch and certificate of merit if they finish the craft. Lowe’s is one of a number of stores that offer free, hands-on craft workshops for kids.
