If the name John Parr doesn’t ring a bell, let me hum a few bars of St. Elmo’s Fire and I’m sure you’ll instantly recognize which rocker we’re talking about.
These days Parr, although British, considers America his second home and has thrown his talents behind supporting military causes. His latest album, The Mission, donates the production costs of the album and substantial proceeds to the USO, USA Cares and Military Family Charity. The Mission is a blend of rock/pop/country, and has been a hit at the free concerts he performs for the military this year.
Now for the good news: Living on the Cheap fans who follow this link to purchase the album and enter the code promo2012 can contribute to a great cause this Veteran’s Day and save $2.60 in your own wallet.
