subway sandwich

Winners are Brian & Wanda! Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? December is Customer Appreciation Month at Subway, with a 6-inch Meatball Marinara or Cold Cut Combo sandwich for just $2. To thank its loyal fans for their continued patronage, Subway is giving two Living on the Cheap readers each a $20 Subway gift card.

To enter you must do two things: 1.) Be an e-mail subscriber of LOTC. E-mail subscribers receive one e-mail every day, with a list of posts from the previous 24 hours. Addresses are never spammed, shared or sold. If you’re not a subscriber yet, you can sign up now. It’s quick, easy and FREE. Make sure to check your inbox (or spam folder) after signing up because you’ll have to confirm your registration. If you already subscribe, ignore #1. You do not have to subscribe again.

2). Leave a comment telling us what you most appreciate this holiday season. Deadline to enter is 11:59 p.m. PST on Wednesday, December 19. We’ll randomly draw two names from all eligible entries, double-check that they are subscribers with an activated subscription and award the gift cards. (Note: Only one entry per e-mail address and/or family.) Winners will be contacted via e-mail for a mailing address — so check your spam filters. We hate to act like Scrooge, but, if we can’t contact you, the prize goes to someone else. Again, you must be a LOTC subscriber to win.

The very best to you during this holiday season; celebrate life, family, and love. I appreciate having a quiet dinner with my family sharing the magical moment being together. I always read to my children the Elf on the Shelf book and listening to holiday music. That is what i appreciate.

  2. I’m thankful for my family and friends, especially during the holidays because time is precious-you never know when might be able to let them know how special they are to you again, enjoy every moment….and doing it w/Subway is even better.

The Thing I appreciate this holiday season is two things, one that I am still able to spend time with my family and extended family and two that I am still able to donate and give to those that truly do need it.

  5. I appreciate my family

I love the spirit of the season. The reason for Christmas is the One now left out of it-Christ. What a privilege to celebrate the birth of Jesus. I love doing it with family and friends. Of course, music and food add to the celebration. Giving is such a sweet blessing.

  7. The best part of the Christmas season is spending time with family and friends and getting a chance to slow down and celebrate what God is doing in our lives.

  8. I appreciate staying home for the holidays and slowing down during this time of year.

I would love to win this for my son. He loves Subway and would also appreciate this. Funds are very tight this year, so it would be nice to surprise him with this gift. Thank you Livingonthecheap for this opportunity!! May you have a blessed Merry Christmas!!

I appreciate that Jesus saw fit to humble himself and become a human, so that He could experience our frailties and problems, teach us how to live by honoring God, and then to suffer and die for our sins so that we can be lifted up and live with Him forever in His Kingdom, and have the privilege of praising Him throughout Eternity. Our celebration, at this time of year, of His coming to Earth, is something worthy of appreciation.

  16. Family and friends being healthy and having a job

God Bless all those who are not so blessed

    Happy Holiday to all

  18. I’m thankful for a less busy Christmas season than I’ve had in years, allowing my family to focus more on the true meaning of Christmas.

I appreciate the opportunity to win a gift card to Subway and then pay it forward to the homeless guy I see every day on the way into work.

  20. I am thankful for the efforts my out of town family put out in order to gather with everyone for the holidays. They own a small coffee shop and it’s hard for them to close it and be away for any meaningful length of time.

I love being with my family at Christmas and also giving to those who are less fortunate. I believe that good people do good things all year round, but there is something magical about this time of year and seeing the joy in others’ eyes when you pay it forward!

What I appreciate most about this holiday season is that I get to spend a lot more time with my son since I’m unemployed. This holiday season just seems much less hectic for my family
