When you purchase a one-year Gold Star gift membership for $55, the warehouse will give you a $10 Costco gift card. The gift membership is only valid for new members, so no renewals or upgrades allowed. You can either give the recipient the bonus to get started shopping those huge aisles or keep it for yourself. We like the latter. We’re advocates of warehouse shopping because of the savings. However, remember, it’s not a deal if you can’t use a gallon of mayonnaise — so shop wisely. Costco will not honor this offer. They say it does not exist. I brought a print out with me but was told noway.? Can you shed some light on this?
